This website, castellodimacero.com, presents Castello di Macero, a private estate near Davis, California. It has no booking or payment system. The only way it collects personal information is through the two inquiry forms, one on the home page and one on the Events page.

What we collect

Only what you type into an inquiry form:

• Your name and email address, and your phone number if you choose to give it
• Dates, guest count, the type of stay or event, and the kind of help you would like
• Anything you write in the message box

We never ask for payment details or government ID. Please do not send them through the form.

How it is sent and used

When you press Send Inquiry, your details are delivered by Web3Forms, a third-party form service, to our inbox at castellodimacero@gmail.com. We use them to reply to you and to plan your stay or event.

If you tell us you would like full-service planning, or help with vendors, we may share your inquiry with the event planning professional we work with so that they can respond to you.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Cookies, analytics and fonts

The pages on this site do not set tracking cookies or run analytics or advertising tools. Because we do not track visitors, the site does not respond to Do Not Track signals.

Text on the site is set in fonts loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google’s servers when a page loads, and Google can see your IP address. Our web host also keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and pages requested, for security and operations.

Links to Instagram and other outside sites leave this website. Their own policies apply once you get there.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain a reasonable record of our correspondence.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we have from you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. This applies to everyone, including California residents. Contact us using the details below.

Children

This site is for adults planning stays and events. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
